Nyasa Big Bullets were on Monday crowned TNM Super League champions after beating Civil Sporting Club 2-1 at Kamuzu Stadium.

The People’s Team came from behind to defeat the Lilongwe side, which was leading 0-1 at half-time.

Bullets went into the match having already secured the 14th title following a 0-3 victory over Red Lions at Balaka Stadium a fortnight ago.

Innocent Tanganyika’s gave the visitors a lead with a clever finish two minutes into added time of the first half.

Roped in from the Reserve Side, Hassan Kajoke came off the bench in the 44th minute and grabbed an equalizer for Bullets three minutes into the second half.

The 19-year-old claimed a brace from the penalty spot after MacFarlen Mgwira was tripped in the 18-yard box with seven minutes to go.

Pasuwa hailed his troops for an outstanding performance in the second half, earning him maximum points and securing his first title after joining The People’s Team two months ago.
