Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve on Thursday beat Azam Tigers in a friendly match at Limbe Country Club.

The young Bullets scored through Patrick Mwaungulu and Tony Biasi in preparation for their weekend’s encounters.

Bullets Reserve will play Changalume Barracks at Chilomoni Stadium in the Carlsberg Cup second round.

This follows their 2-1 triumph over Neno Medicals in their opening match of the competition last weekend.

24 hours after hosting the Zomba-based soldiers, NBB Reserve will be away to Nsanama FC in the Chitetezo Mbaula SRFA Premier Division League.

Currently the young Bullets are on fourth position in the SFRA League with 26 points from 11 games. They have three games in hand to catch up with the top three teams, which have played 15 times.

Mtopwa FC, who have 32 points, are at the summit of the league while Cobbe Barracks are second with 31 points and MDF Marine come third with 29 points.
