Latest information on Bullets’ injuries and names of players who are not available for selection ahead of Saturday’s TNM Super League match against Savenda Chitipa United at Kamuzu Stadium.

John Lanjesi

From light exercise last week, Captain John Lanjesi returned to full training on Wednesday after staying out for close to a month due to a hamstring problem. He sustained the injury during Malawi national team preparations for the Cosafa Cup. The central defender will this weekend miss his fourth game as he was out in our three away fixtures against Blue Eagles, Moyale Barracks and Mzuni FC. He is expected to be available for selection in our next encounter depending on the fitness levels.

Precious Sambani & Miracle Gabeya

Sambani played for full minutes in Bullets’ 0-2 victory over Moyale Barracks last Saturday but was on the sidelines in the next match against Mzuni 24 hours later due to a groin injury. The left-back has also been on light training since Wednesday and will go into full training on Monday alongside Miracle Gabeya, who has also been out for almost four weeks due to a knee injury.

Dalitso Sailesi and Henry Kabichi are out for selection for tomorrow’s match. The two were not part of the squad that went to Mzuzu as Sailesi was down with a cold and is still recovering, while Kabichi, who trained for three days this week was away to attend his deceased brother’s burial.
