Nyasa Big Bullets defender Nickson Nyasulu has received his first call up to the Malawi senior national team.

Flames coach Meck Mwase has called into camp 27 local players to start preparing for two friendly matches against Lesotho in Maseru on Friday and Sunday.

Twelve Bullets players have been called into camp as the national team starts training at Mpira Village in Chiwembe, Blantyre on Monday.

The 21-year-old, who was drafted from Bullets Reserve into the main team by coach Kalisto Pasuwa in July to take the position of injured captain John Lanjesi, has been impressive in the TNM Super League and the CAF Champions League, scoring one goal in eleven games.
